Blessing & Preparation For An Angel Card Reading

Tools you may want to bring: Angel Cards, a few essential oils you are drawn to, Black Tourmaline crystal (to protect your energy from being stolen), notebook for you, notepad and tissues for clients, pens, business cards, books you like to reference, salt candle holder (to balance energy)

Timing is Everything! *If you must time your reading, remember, the minutes begin to count down as soon as their butt hits that chair! So start your timer now or start at 8-5 minutes later in the steps! It is VERY IMPORTANT that you stick to the timer! Remember, you will always have other people waiting.

*START TIMER FOR TEN MINUTES*

Introduce yourself and ask your client’s name and write it down their email for your list. Ask if they have ever had an Angel card reading before. Tell them it is a beautiful reading with all positive messages from their Angels. And it’s a healing! This puts them at ease.

Dab the essential oil of their choice in their left hand “for receiving” and use some for yourself if you need it. Explain that this essential oil will help calm their energy and open them up so you can get into their energy easily for a smooth reading.

Show them how to Breathe, in through nose and out of mouth. This is meditative breathing.

*START TIMER AT 8 MINUTES*

As your client is breathing in the oil, you Knock Out the Energy of the Cards, knock 3 times, and ask for the cards to be cleared for your client. “Thank you for clearing this deck so (client’s name) can receive clear beautiful messages.” And if you want, put your Reiki Symbols into the cards (if you have Reiki training.) Then begin to ground yourself and place your energy into the cards, you may want to hold the cards to your heart and or third eye. Sometimes your client will need a grounding; so as they breathe the oil you can lead them through this special Grounding Technique I have channeled.

“See your feet, body, all of your beautiful energy gently and easily melting into the ground. Almost like you are wading in water. Take that tingly, watery, grounded sensation and bring it all the way up to the top of your head. Slowly let it rise up to your knees, into your hips, up to your shoulders and all the way up to the top of your head. And now your whole body is grounded, aligned and centered. And now see Mother Earth reaching up, placing your energy in her hands. She is always there for us, grounding, loving and protecting us.”

After they finish breathing the oil and you feel the cards are ready, take their hands and place them over the cards as you hold their hands on top.

*START TIMER AT 7 MINUTES*

And say this Blessing to yourself,

“Dear Lord, thank you for surrounding (client’s name) with healing/protection/messages. Thank you for surrounding me with healing/protection/messages. Thank you for (client’s name) Angels, crossed over loved ones/guides/saints/fairies/guardians for being with us here today and guiding us through this reading. Thank you for helping me to be a clear and open channel for the healing messages to flow through. Thank you for these messages always coming from the highest white light and the greatest good of all. Thank you for helping me step my ego and personality aside so that (client’s name) can receive the healing messages they need to hear. And I thank you in advance for this beautiful blessing.”

Have your client Shuffle the Cards until they feel it is enough. Spread them across the table and have them pick 1, 2 or 3 cards. Then start listening to the Angels and begin your reading.

*START TIMER AT 5 MINUTES*

Pull 3 cards to start or 2 or even just 1! If they chatted a lot before (that happens A LOT), there will be only time for 1-2 cards. And TRY to stop at 10 minutes!! I know it is not easy sometimes, but the more you practice you get, the better you will become at time management.

***Trust yourself always!! If you feel you want to say something, SAY IT!! Manyyyyy times I have stopped myself because of my own doubt and the client ended up saying it! Lol so if you get a message and it seems weird or not on topic, just say it! Remember, it’s not YOU, it’s the Angels speaking through you ALWAYS! They can be funny sometimes too!

You will be asked, “What’s the difference between Tarot cards and Angel cards?” A LOT!
This is my response, “I feel everything said is blessed and orchestrated by the Angels. So even if your passed relative has a message for you, they have to go through the Angels to get, to me, to get to you. This is also a healing reading, Tarot is not. We will not talk to ghosts, only Angels and those beings from the light. In Tarot you never know who will start talking, if the reader does not ask for specific intentions.” This also can put them at ease.

The more conversation there is with your client the better! With the Angel Cards, the reading will go smoother if they open up to you! That is why I love using my Ground & Center essential oil.

Ok! Now go talk to the Angels!!!
